Weligama is a top destination for surfing: A big beach with soft waves perfect for beginnes and different point breaks nearby for experienced surfers.

It is a 3h drive from the airport of Colombo. It is not a bad idea to discover other parts of Sri Lanka with beautifull nature, lots of culture based on the budhism and amazing wildlife.
