Good afternoon Peter,
We had a lovely trip to Dakhla, hotel Paraiso!
In itself, the journey there and back is quite long, but once you arrive you find yourself in an oasis of peace.
We were welcomed warmly and very hospitably, and we felt that way throughout the whole trip, until the morning of our departure where we were served a small breakfast in the early hours, even before the restaurant had opened.
Hotel Paraiso is a comfortable, beautiful and cosy hotel, very quietly located.
The bungalows are comfortable, clean (cleaning service comes by every day), sufficiently large (especially for 2), nothing to complain about really.
The common areas (restaurant and terrace) are also very clean, and nicely decorated.
We found the food super tasty, both breakfast, lunch and dinner. All prepared on the spot, delicious and healthy food.
The staff are all very friendly and always at your service.
The kite club is located adjacent to the hotel, and there too, no effort is too much for them. Your own kite equipment is handled carefully, they give lots of advice.
If it's high tide you can kite up to the hotel, at low tide they take you with the tractor a little further so you can start there.
Our boys both took lessons, which were also fine: very enthusiastic and patient instructors.
It is also very quiet kiting there, away from all the crowds.
We had 3 days with less to no wind in the morning, but then you have the option of supping or wake boarding there, or wave surfing further away in Dakhla (all arranged through the kite club).
It's still a fairly new complex, so there are some areas for improvement here and there, but at least that didn't bother us at all.
You should not look for the big luxury or "grand chic" here, but a warm welcome in a cosy, quiet, comfortable and very chill complex. We felt at home here, we will definitely go back !

Thank you for arranging a wonderful trip for us,
Greetings
Lies and Philippe
