Good morning Peter,
It was a new experience in Lasarga and we had 5 days of kiting. Unfortunately there was not much wind so it was difficult to kite offshore on the beach because there were no waves, which was a pity.
We tried once and the wind was too variable so we had to shovel the kite and it was difficult to return to the beach.
The other days we kited on the lagoon.
Remarks in comparison with lagoon energy
- Always had to take the tractor at certain hours and always had to wait until everyone was done to return with the tractor
- At the lagoon there was also no refreshments or toilets available ( we also wrote this down on the paper for improvements)
- I found that the lagoon was not really a lagoon like lagoon energy, there were always short waves that made it more difficult for a beginner, also the beach was full of dead and rotting fish but that's something Lasarga can't do anything about.
- The place did have a much better basic and family character compared to lagoon energy, especially the tables in the restaurant in the sand were really nice though.
- They do need to work on being a little more professional ( I order oysters and lobster Monday and every day they had some excuse that they hadn't delivered).
- The stilt houses were very clean and you had an incredible view.
- There was a lot of choice in the restaurant but at lagoon energy this was more extensive and more Moroccan oriented, I also found it unfortunate that here also every day European food was provided such as French fries and pizza
In short it was a nice place but it would have been nicer if we could have kited in front of the club, then you can stop whenever you want.
I would personally give lagoon energy 4 stars instead of lasarga.
Also a big plus was that there were very few people on the water.
