This is our report on our last holiday in Dakhla at La Tour d'Eole,
La Tour d'Eole is a beautiful secluded spot with lovely sea views, the kite club is a 7 minute walk down the hill or you can ask the golf cart to take you there. The golf buggy runs back and forth constantly, there was never a need to wait here to get to the kite club, which is an added value, especially to get back to the rooms.
The kite club is very clean and in my opinion very new anyway, it is also well maintained.
The instructors are also very helpful in handling your kite when you get out of the water and even folding your kite.
The food seemed star worthy at times, lunch was sharing dishes and it was very tasty with lots of variety.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and you could tell everyone enjoyed working here.
For an experienced diver this is certainly a good place, but for a beginner you always have to wait for high tide to go into the small lagoon, which is not really advice for beginners.
Getting into the water at the club was not so easy because of the many stones lying around, which caused me to get hurt a few times, as well as the slippery streams you had to go through. It's a pity they didn't really make a sandy walking strip, but that's the only minus point I can mention.
In short this is really paradise and we will definitely come back here , my wife stopped kiting a few years ago and finds it definitely an added value here also with the swimming pool.
