Here is a short report of our trip to El Gouna,
First, regarding your contact for the transfer, I don't think it's a good plan!
For departure when we arrived at Hurghada airport the person was there but upon leaving the airport what a surprise to see that he was waiting for us with a small car so impossible to load our Boarbags!!! we had to wait for another vehicle more suitable!!!
Luckily we were early enough not to be late for the plane because again we had to wait for another vehicle! It was also very difficult to find out the pick-up time for the return trip. The hotel had to call as many as ten times to get an answer and before anyone answered!
For Kite's school they are formidable especially the Thara in charge, my son improved tremendously thanks to them the Top!

The spot is also great for beginners because we walked a long way, only the start is a bit technical at high tide!
The security for beginners is also top, they always have an eye on the spot
