Lagon Energy ex Ocean Vagabond

We’ve enjoyed our 7 day stay at Ocean Vagabond in July ‘22. The hotel was phenomenal: incredibly friendly and helpful team, a lot of eye for detail and every meal was a feast.

Great location for families, groups of friends, couples and people traveling alone - though if you don’t kitesurf there is not that much to do. 

We had more than 20 knots of wind every day we were there so most of our days were spent kiting. 

We were hoping to surf as well but found out surf season starts in September. They did organise a downwinder (13km to the white dune) which was a cool experience.

The kiting material at the ION club is in perfect condition and there are always people around to help you launch, put your kite away, kit you out etc - the full service!

Lessons are not cheap and the ION club is quite conservative compared to other locations in terms of letting you rent materials autonomously so expect to take a fair few hours of lessons if you’re still learning.
