Last year I would have given this place 5*... now only 2*...
It has just become a different place and would avoid it for at least a few months now. The place is currently all yard.
Restaurant and bar are currently housed in a tent. You wake up to the sound of jackhammers, camions and tractors. You join them for breakfast and also lunch.
The food is now also really underwhelming.
Also no alternatives if there is no wind, other than overpriced excursions/wellness or a kayak/paddle hire.
A yoga teacher on leave for 2 weeks, a table tennis table with no pallets, a pool table under a thick tarpaulin, a rusty football table with no balls, a cable car with no water...
At the bar, then again, the barrel is empty, they have no nuts left or no mint for your tea or no sparkling water, or....
The music is also not a real mood creator.
The staff, apart from some very cool people, are not very enthusiastic, not well informed or speak almost no F/E....
There is a grim atmosphere there at the moment.
The positive remains the beautiful views, the nice and well-maintained bungalows and the energetic gardeners.
Of the sports unit, I can't say much, as there was no wind... :/
Hopefully something will be done about it, as it remains an idyllic place....
