Our accommodations project began in 2000, Inside of the natural reserve "Isole dello Stagnone di Marsala" - West Sicily.

We are directly in front "Isole dello Stagnone which is composed of 4 islands: Mozia, Santa Maria, Schoola and Long Island, It is the perfect area for water sports like wind and kite surfing, kayaking, SUP, etc.

Lo Stagnone is one of the paradises of world Kite!

Our accommodations in Sicily are in the most beautiful kite spot right in the center of the Kite Village: constant wind for 300 days a year, shallow and flat water like a board, the perfect ingredients to learn Kitesurfing In a few hours.

Stagnone is a huge lagoon with an average depth of about one meter open to the sea in just two points, making it ideal for learning and practicing kitesurfing in total safety.

In addition to being famous for kiting, Stagnone is characteristic for salt flats, vineyards and windmills and in the background the 3 Egadi islands (Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo) which during the sunsets complete the magical context.

Thanks to the intuition and the determination of the Mezzapelle Brothers, local entrepreneurs, who strongly believe in the tourist/sports development of the Stagnone, native entrepreneurs who first decide to invest in their territory of origin, in order to share the beauty of the place, Mezzapelle Family realized from 2000 to 2015 a Resort:

Resort Santa Maria Hotel***

The Hotel rooms (economy, standard, deluxe and superior) are equipped with:

- breakfast included- private bathroom with courtesy kit- hairdryer- satellite TV- mini bar- A/C and heating- safe-deposit box- WI-FI.

The hotel rooms are usually for 2 people, except one room that there is for 4 people, there are rooms on the ground floor or on the first floor, sea view or garden view.

The Apartments (studio, bilocale and trilocale apartment) all have an independent entrance divided into ground and first floor and are equipped with:
- kitchen- private bathroom- satellite TV- A/C- hairdryer- autonomous heating.

Studio apartment is for 2 or 3 people, bilocale is for 4 people, trilocale is for 6 people.

In all the apartments on the first floor there is a balcony with sea or garden view and all those on the ground floor have a veranda with pergola.

Our Resort can host up to 100 people and our season is from March to November.

The only Resort with Restaurant with swimming pool directly to the kite spot.

Our Restaurant and Bar inside our Resort opens on 2022, our bar is open every day. We offer Breakfast, Lunch and dinner to our guests.

In our Restaurant you will find our famous Marsala’s wines and our typical Sicilian delicious foods.

You can enjoy your meals served at the table, in our wonderful Restaurant inside our Resort, where you can admire amazing sunsets, directly in front of the kite spot “Lo Stagnone”!

Our continental breakfast consists of: cappuccino, coffee, tea, milk, orange juice, water, bread, croissants, cream cheese, a choice of eggs, fruits, cornflakes / muesli, honey, jam, marmalade.

Lunch or dinner of your choice, the menu includes: the appetizer, a first course and a second course choice among those on the menu of the day, fruit or dessert and water.

At the first floor of our Restaurant and Bar we host the most famous kite school, open every day, that offers kite rentals and kite lessons for beginner and advanced.

We organize yoga lessons for all levels with our qualified yoga instructor, in our Restaurant, every morning, lesson is in English language.

We are partnership with La Posidonia Case Vacanza (200 mt far from our Resort) and Villa Abele (1 km far from our Resort). Both accommodations offer comfortable and new apartments, perfect solution for families and friends, up to 35 people.

We are between Marsala (15 minutes by car) and Trapani city center (30 minutes by car), we are also close to Birgi-Trapani airport (10 minutes by car) and 50 minutes by car from Palermo airport. From our resort, the nearest sun beach is only 2 km, called San Teodoro.

Our location is also famous for the salty and windmill called "Saline dello Stagnone", about 3 km from our Resort.

During summer period, we usually suggest our guests to visit Egadi Island, for example Favignana is the best one.

If guests need taxi or rental car, or need suggestions to nice tour in their holidays in Sicily, our Reception can always help them and books these extra services!
