Our ZooPark Surf house is a 250 square meters new
house with sea views, 2 floors, a big chillout and BBQ area, plasma TV and with all the things you may need during your stay in Famara.
In our Surf camps, you will feel you're in paradise!
On the other hand, if you want something more private and independent, if you want to relax and especially if you have had a hard and exciting day on the beach and all you want to do is have a nice warm bath to disconnect from everything, then your option is to rent one of our apartments.
We have chosen this system of accommodation so you can enjoy your holidays to the maximum.
This way our guests can feel they are at home.
We have more than 20 beautiful apartments to offer, all very close to the beach and with views of the sea and the volcanic scenery of Lanzarote.
All of them are situated in the village of Famara, so this way you can avoid using the car when all you feel like doing is opening your bedroom window and enjoy the nice views.
All the apartments have balconys and are fully equipped.
Apartments for 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 people and also others for big groups are fully available for you.
Prices are really economic, starting from 30 euros a day.

Zoopark Famara is located in the beautiful fisher village “La Caleta de Famara “ on the north-east coast of Lanzarote within a unique countryside of volcanic character ,washed by the atlantic ocean, you too will feel the energy of the volcanoes upon yourself.
You'll find our center right at the beginning of the village,house number 5 of the main road(av. principal), just a few meters away from the beach, and as a matter of fact, we are the very first surf school you’ll see when you enter the village.
The airport is about 20 minutes away from our center, so we do recommend to rent a car in order to have the freedom to roam about and to explore the island after your day on the beach.
We have the very first surf and kitesurf shop on the left as you enter the town of Famara in Lanzarote.

Famara beach is one of the most dramatic and natural beaches in Lanzarote. Set at the foot of the huge and vibrant 650 metre high cliffs of El Risco the beach has a very special atmosphere and energy. The golden sand of the beach stretches around the base of the cliffs for over four kilometers. You will have plenty of room to enjoy whichever water activity you chose to participate in.

If you are just getting into this fantastic sport then we can offer you some very good Famara surf lessons. More experienced wave riders are welcome to come into our shop and browse through the selection of surf clothing, boards and accessories. If you dont want to go through the hassle of transporting your surf board on the aeroplane all the way to Famara beach then we have a selection of surf boards we can hire to you.
There are different levels of surfing course to suit whatever level you are at. Surf lessons include boards, wet suits and all equipment.
The waves along Famara beach break on sand and are therefore safe for beginner to intermediate level surfers. If you are new to the sport it is a good idea to seek some instruction to become familiar with rip tides, different surf conditions and general water safety. You can save yourself a lot of time and effort by letting our local surf experts explain the basics.
