Nyali beach hotel ****

Nyali Beach Hotel home to Prosurf Extreme, has 20 acres of flamboyant tropical gardens, and is often described as "very Casablanca"! The Hotel is nestled amongst the leafy, private, residential area of Nyali, meaning "clearing" as it was the first clearing made for development on the North Coast in the early colonial era of the late 1940's.

The first of Kenya's beach hotels has retained its period charm throughout its modernization. Built on the most beautiful and isolated beach on the North Coast of Kenya, first impressions are of whitewashed walls, tiled cool floors, the whirl of ceiling fans, potted palms and wicker furniture.

The hotel has a HUGE 100ft length swimming pool, a freeform Lagoon pool, baby pool and jacuzzi and three restaurants:

•Bistro - Pizza, Pasta
•L'Orangerie - Breakfast and table d'hote
•Mvita Grill - Grill room by ocean

Only 15 mins from the Mombasa Moi International Airport it's an easy transfer and is close enough to experience all Mombasa has to offer.

Our kitesurf and windsurf centre is based at beach front of the Hotel and is the only kite centre on Nyali Beach.

Catamaran sailing and windsurfing is *free for guests staying in Nyali who are (*certified windsurfers and mandatory rescue charge applies). This is on a first come first served basis and for windsurfers we have a selection of approx 20 rigs to choose from (2.0m to 6.8m) and over 20 boards. We provide excellent courses for learning windsurfing (level I & Level II), and then you can windsurf for free afterwards! At Nyali we also provide locker storage facilities for kiters and windsurfers if you bring your own equipment.

Couples, singles, groups, families on holiday all suit Nyali Beach Hotel. Everyone is very welcoming here, and we have a really good, sporty vibe that attracts alot of fun, friendly people! Kids are really important to us at the hotel and the centre, and we emphasise a welcoming environment for families so lots of little people can have fun here too with Mum and Dad!

The bar opens from 11am - 7pm or as needs be, and as we are based at the Nyali Beach Hotel it's only a short walk home!
