We are thrilled to announce the much-awaited opening of ION CLUB La Pointe JW Marriott - an exciting addition to our ION CLUB family. 

We are transforming from a mobile center to a fixed structure! 

Located on the beautiful beach of La Pointe in partnership with the JW Marriott Mauritius Resort, right in front of the sea, this fixed center promises an extraordinary watersports experience for enthusiasts with an advanced level. 

The grand opening is scheduled for the 15th of August!

The Ideal Location: ION CLUB La Pointe is strategically located on the windiest spot of the peninsula, providing direct access to the turquoise waters of Le Morne. This prime spot is perfect for advanced water sports enthusiasts. With its side shore winds and the mix of deep and shallow waters ensuring unforgettable sessions. Additionally, its close proximity to the hotels ensures a practical and seamless experience for all our valued guests.

The services proposed at ION CLUB La Pointe JW Marriott:

1.    Windsurfing: Rentals & advanced lessons (Level 3 from the ION CLUB Level System)

2.    Wingfoiling: Rentals & advanced lessons (Level 3 from the ION CLUB Level System)

3.    Kitesurfing: Rentals (IKO Level 3 or VDWS level 6)

4.    Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP): Rentals 

5.    Surf: Lessons & supervision (from beginner to advanced)

Safety and Surveillance: At ION CLUB, safety remains our utmost priority. La Pointe Beach is the optimal spot for rescue operations due to its prime beach location in Le Morne, offering unobstructed views of all the waves and guests on the water. Its fast access allows our rescue team to respond swiftly to emergencies, making it the most efficient and effective base for rescue operations in the area.

The 5 ION CLUB Centers in the South:

1.    ION CLUB La Pointe JW Marriott: At La Pointe we will offer Kitesurf, Wing foil, Windsurf & SUP rentals and Wing foil, Windsurf and Surf lessons.

2.    ION CLUB Kite Lagoon: At the Kite Lagoon, we will continue to offer kitesurf rentals and lessons, along with beginner wing foil and beginner windsurfing lessons.

3.    ION CLUB Boat House JW Marriott: The ION CLUB Boat House at JW Marriott will exclusively provide premium kitesurfing & surfing experiences with Private Boat, providing luxurious and unforgettable adventure on the waters.

4.    ION CLUB Dinarobin: At the ION CLUB Dinarobin, we will also offer premium kitesurfing experiences with Private Boat and thrilling SUP excursions.

5.    La Gaulette Shop: Our shop in La Gaulette has an extensive selection of retail items, including second-hand equipment, ION CLUB branded merchandise (Lycras, water bottles etc..), ION accessories, and personalized souvenirs. This is the perfect place to find a special memento of your time with ION CLUB in Le Morne.

Shuttle Service: To make your journey to ION CLUB even more convenient, we offer free shuttle services from all hotels in Le Morne to our four locations. We believe in providing the best possible experience for our guests, starting from the moment you arrive.

The transfer from the hotels in Le Morne to the ION CLUB shop in La Gaulette will be charged with an extra fee.
