I just returned from a very large group celebration in Tamarindo and we chose to stay at Casa Alang Alang. We couldn't be happier with our choice - everything was absolutely incredible.

The villa itself has everything you will ever need, starting from the minute you wake up to your full breakfast already prepared. There are views overlooking the ocean or lush forests from every inch of the house which take your breath away every time. The house is equipped with everything. From every type of cooking supply you'll ever need, glass wear, cocktail tools, filtered water and carbonated water on tap, beach toys (surfboards, boogie boards, etc), a gym/studio, a central stereo system which can be controlled by your own phone that plays through numerous speakers throughout the house, and the list goes on and on.

The town and beach is a 10 minute walk from the villa, which means there is no need for calling a taxi if you don't mind walking up/down a few easy hills. All of the restaurants nearby are great, and there is also some lively bars to check out for each night of the week.

Most importantly, which was the most appreciated part of the trip, was the staff. From Karina and Francisco who take care of you all day, every day, to the wonderful cleaning, maintenance, and cooking staff. Any questions or requests we had were IMMEDIATELY answered by either Karina or Francisco, which even included immediate house visits to help with some repairs, or picking up supplies. In addition, all expenses were communicated very diligently with no surprises. Our guests were extremely impressed. This was one of the best customer service experiences I have received to date.

We also decided to book their recommended chef, and were beyond impressed. So much delicious food, with such pleasant service, we had wished we booked him for more meals. And the price was too good to be true.

All-in-all, if you are looking for once in a lifetime trip with friends, family, or coworkers, Casa Alang Alang is absolutely the perfect place.
