Club Mistral & Skyriders Golf de Roses

Le club se trouve au sud de la baie de Rosas (à 5 km de L'Esala). A côté du club il y a un bar, snack, chill-out-corner et camping.
Ouvert de Pâques jusqu'en octobre.

THE WINDSURFING- AND KITESURFING SPOT COSTA BRAVA

The long sandy Bay of Roses, on the Mediterranean coast, only 30 km away south of the French border, has been a popular spot for windsurfers and kitesurfers for decades.

The sea breeze (thermal wind) is the predominant wind at Golf de Roses. This wind is amazingly constant, generally blowing between 12-22 knots side-onshore, from the right. Our 100m-wide sandy beach offers enough space for “stress-free” kite launching. The water in front of the centre is shallow for some 50 meters as there are many sandbanks...

Ion Golf de Roses will be open the 13th of April 2019  and closing 13th of October 2019

The campsite will be the venue this year again for the PWA Worldcup event taking place right beside the ION CLUB centre. At this year's Worldcup which takes place from 28th of May - 02nd of June 2019 awaits you a Foil-race for the first time

GOLF DE ROSES IS THE PERFECT SPOT FOR CHILDREN

Golf de Roses is the perfect spot for kids instruction. The water is shallow in around 50 meters. In the mornings there are light winds which offer the perfect conditions for kids. The wind is side onshore, which means it's very safe and the kids do not have to be afraid to drift to open sea.

Parking
- Pendant la saison basse (31 mars 2012 - 11 mai 2012 et 25 septembre - 3 octobre 2012) vous pouvez rouler dans le camping puisqu'il est fermé, et stationner la voiture tout près du Club Mistral. La barrière à la réception s'ouvrira automatiquement. Suivez les indications dans le camping.

- En pleine saison (12 mai - 24 septembre 2012) le camping est ouvert. Vous ne pouvez y entrer en voiture si vous n'êtes pas client du camping. Comme client du Club Mistral vous pouvez stationner gratuitement en face de la réception du camping La Ballena Alegre sur présentation de votre voucher. Vous passez le camping à pied pour arriver au Club (5 min.)

Il y a un beach bar Oasis à côté du Club. Transats disponibles.
Le Beach Bar a un restaurant sur le toit avec du "paella et des plats de riz". Et oui, on y trouve de l'ombre !

Si vous voulez avoir des parasols et des transats à la plage, il faut les emmener soi-même.

Surf ‘n Play Program at Club Mistral Golf de Roses
The Surf ’n Play program has been designed for kids from 8 years old who would like to get
an introduction in the 3 nautic sports during their holidays: Windsurf, kitesurf and stand up
paddle. Whether we have wind or waves - we will always practice the sport, which is perfectly
suitable for the conditions. During 4 sessions of 1.5 hours the kids will try each sport one time
and repeat one sport on the last day.
The lessons are held by experienced instructors in many languages! Safety during the lessons is
our highest priority and we adapt the way of teaching to the children’s age!

About the Surf ‘n Play program
‐ Kids from 8 – 14 years
‐ 4 days (4x1.5 hours)
‐ 3 Sports (windsurfing, kitesurfing and SUP)
‐ 160 EUR per kid
‐ Small groups of max. 4 kids
‐ Special kids equipment for windsurfing and SUP (Mistral Kids Inflatable 8’6“ and small
paddles with a thin diameter). The kitesurf lessons are held with small kite sizes and if
necessary shorter lines.
‐ The equipment and wetsuits are included in the lesson price.

Comment y arriver ?
· En voiture vous arrivez au Club Mistral / Skyriders par l'autoroute (Autopista AP 7, frontière française - Barcelone).
· En venant de la France ou de l'aéroport de Girone (45 minutes) et de Barcelone (1.5 h.), en tout cas, vous prenez l'exit 5 „ L `Escala / Empuries”.
· Prenez la route G1-623 direction L `Escala pour environ 20 km.
· Juste avant d'arriver à L `Escala vous trouverez un rond point (à votre droite un bureau de tourisme). Vous preznez la route à gauche vers „St. Marti d`Empuries”/ „Platjas de St Pere Pescador“, à partir d'ici vous n'êtes plus sur la route pour L `Escala.
· Maintenant tout droit, après 1km vous verrez le village St Marti d `Empuries à votre droite. Sur ce petit rond point vous continuez tout droit.
· Vous passerez un petit pont et vous voyez déjà les grands signes jaunes du camping “ la Ballena Alegre Costa Brava”, le premier camping à votre droite.Le Club Mistral / Skyriders Golf de Rosas se trouve à l'extrémité droite du camping (en regardant vers la mer).
· Laissez le camping à votre droite, ainsi que le suivant ( Las Dunas) et continuez votre route (attention, il y a quelques tournants forts) jusqu'au petit signe jaune à votre gauche " El Moli de l’Armentera- Alojamiento Rural“
· Vous tournez à gauche et après 800 m vous verrez le vieux moulin à vent restauré “ El Moli”

0034 600 224440 parce que les propriétaires n'habitent pas là. Ils vous acceuilleront quand ils connaissent l'heure de votre arrivée.
Présentez-vous chez El Moli de l’ Armentera : montrez le voucher du Club Mistral.
Après le check-in chez Marta ou Jesus de El Moli vous aurez hâte de voir la plage et le Club.
Vous êtes les bienvenus pendant les heures d'ouverture (11:00-18:00 en saison basse, 10:00-18:00 en pleine saison).

Voici la route de El Moli de l'Armentera au Club Mistral :
Quittez El Moli vers la gouche et retournez vers la route principale. Tournez à droite, soyez prudents et roulez lentement parmi les virages aigues. A votre gauche vous verrez Camping “Las Dunas” et juste après l'entrée du camping Ballena Alegre
ION CLUB // GOLF DE ROSES // NEW CENTER
ION CLUB Golf de Roses is happy to announce that beginning of July they will open
a second ION CLUB “Specially for Windsurfing”!
The new building is located in the middle of the camping la Ballena Alegre (very close
to the parking/reception and the big swimming pool) only 4-5 minutes walk away from
the “main” ION CLUB along the beach.
The aim by opening a center for “windsurfer only” is that they would like to create
some more space for all the sports on the water.
Windsurf-Training for Beginners and Kids will stay front of the “main” ION
CLUB for the mornings, only the rental and the afternoon lessons for advanced
levels will take place at the new “windsurf only”.
Kitesurfing lessons/rental/storage and all stand up paddle activities will also stay at
the “main” ION CLUB.
