AccomodationSELF CATERING :
Kenyaways offers the option of having a private self-catered villa complete with chef, house-keeping and laundry. It enables flexible meal times, as you would at home but on an exotic beach with the best view and all to yourself. It is great for families and larger groups of friends. If you would like breakfast included there is a surcharge per person.
Upstairs villa :
2 bedroom private villa. 1 room is very large with 1 double bed and 2 single beds and the other is also big with 2 single beds. Both bedrooms are ensuite. Sleeps total of 6 people in two bedrooms.
Self catering option is possible in the 3 bedroom villa which include the rooms raven, rebel and tribal.
The Olive Branch Bar & Restaurant is open seasonally, however when open guests staying in a private villa are welcome to use the bar and restaurant at their convenience.
BED & BREAKFAST.
This is the option for those that want a hassle free stay and can also meet other visitors. The surroundings are relaxed and friendly and everyone leaves with a new group of friends. Laundry service is provided at a small fee.
The Kenyaways Bed & Breakfast option includes a full complimentary breakfast until 10:00 AM. The in house Olive Branch Bar & Restaurant has a fully licensed bar serving delicious cocktails, fruit juices, smoothies, coffees and more. The creative restaurant serves a variety of fusion food style dishes, including plenty of freshly caught local seafood at affordable prices.

Kenyaways only has 7 bedrooms making it a private and unique hotel. It is set on a 3 acre property on the beach amongst tropical gardens and indigenous forest. The villa overlooks the most stunning beach which you won't believe until you see it. There are coconut palms leading up to the soft white sand and turquoise ocean. There are hammocks, sunbeds and seating in the garden and on the beach to relax and read or sunbathe. There is a massage area with a seaview where you can relieve the aches and pains without breaking your budget.

H2O Extreme is Kenya's professional IKO kite surfing centre, with certification. It was founded in 2004 on Diana Beach by the Polo brothers. The Keniaways kitesurf centre base was opened in 2008. Equipment hire and kite surf lessons.

There are 2 wind seasons in Kenya : KUSI - June 20th to Sept 20th and KASKAZI - Dec 20th to April 20th.
KITE SIZES.
More than 70 kg 10-14 metre kites, less than 70 kg 7-12 metre kites.

This is the latest trend in watersports and is a fantastic alternative when the wind is too light. It involves a long board (11ft) and a paddle. On flat water one can paddle around exploring and getting great exercise. On waves one can surf even the smallest ripple in true old school style.

Officially, we do not deal with surfing however, as we are in the hobby of surfing, and if you are a travelling surfer with your own board you may want to enquire with us about conditions and surfspots. We can also organize boat transport depending on availability. The season for decent sized waves (2ft - 4ft) is from April - Sept. There is also a good spot for those that would like to learn how to surf or who need practice.
